The Law Offices of Daniel B. Kennedy offer a general civil and criminal practice of law with concentrations in juvenile, adoption, guardianship, special education, appeals in criminal and civil matters, and the defense of traffic and criminal cases. Many cases can be accepted on a flat-fee basis, eliminating the prospect of unexpected legal expenses.
For example, a simple speeding ticket will generally be accepted for a one-time fee of $250; an adoption not involving a trial to terminate parental rights would cost $450.00 plus the filing fee (currently $65) and costs of service of process (variable, but usually less than $25 for each person served); and an appeal from a final order in a criminal or civil case would cost $1,000 plus the cost of the transcripts and duplication of the common law record.
Mr. Kennedy has the following reported cases: In re: S.R., 349 Ill.App.3d 1017 (Ill. App. 4 Dit., 2004); In re: Jordan V., 347 Ill.App.3d 1057 (Ill.
